Objects:
a) the relief of sickness and the furtherance of medical research by the payment of grants and loans to hospitals, clinics, medical schools and research institutions and other charitable associations having as their object the relief or the assistance of the sick or infirm and the extension of medical knowledge, provided that no payment shall be given to an institution established for commercial gain. b) to provide and award studentships scholarships and prizes for nurses health visitors and others engaged in or undergoing a course of education training or preparation for the treatment or prevention of illness in such manner and in such terms as the trustees shall think proper. c) to made payments and grants to necessitous persons in case of hardship or distress arising from the age or sickness or infirmity of such persons or their dependants or the death of any person on when they ar dependant. d) to carry out such other legally charitable purposes for the relief of sickness and poverty or the advancement of education as the trustees shall declare.
