Objects:
(a) to relieve physically handicapped persons resident within that part of the london borough of waltham forest which formerly comprised the borough of walthamstow, by organising social activities with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities are primarily intended, and that those persons have need of facilities by reason of their disablement. (b) to pursue any other charitable objects for the benefit of the physically handicapped. (c) the walthamstow physically handicapped club recognises that all physically handicapped members of our society have an equal right to the services we try to provide and we aim to ensure that no-one is or should be excluded on the grouds of:- race, colour, nationality, ethnic or national origin sex, marital status or caring responsibilities, sexuality, political belief, religion, class or employment status, or unrelated criminal conviction, and we would actively encourage physically handicapped persons from these or any other minority groups to join us should they wish to do so. we also try to ensure that our volunteer helpers are not discriminated against in any way.
