and the relief of poverty. to relieve in cases of need persons resident in southwark, newington and walworth and, at the discretion of the trustees, persons resident elsewhere in that part of the area of the former county of london as lies on the south side of the river thames who are sick, convalescent, disabled, handicapped or infirm. to assist deserving mothers and children, being expectant mothers, nursing mothers, or mothers of children under eleven years of age and children under eleven years of age who reside in the area of cannonbury, mildmay, highbury and lower holloway wards of the metropolitan borough of islington. providing a period of holiday rest or convalescence for mothers and children qualified as aforesaid to apply the clear income of the charity for the purpose of relieving either genrally or individually women who have been members of the women's land army or of the headquarters staff or county staffs thereof and their families and dependants and the families and dependants of any deceased members as aforesaid who are in conditions of need, hardship or distress. annuities for poor people of paddington who by reason of age or infirmity are not able to earn a living. for hospitals or charitable institutions subject to the jurisdication of the charity commission. 3.1 the objects for which the charity is established are for the public benefit: 3.1.1 to preserve and protect the good health (in particular mental health) and advance the education of families, individuals and groups within the community; and 3.1.2 the relief of poverty; and3.1.3 the relief of those in need, by reason of youth, age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage;in such ways as the trustees think fit. for the benefit of unmarried mothers and their first children under 4 years of age, particularly in enabling such children to be boarded out with foster parents. income to be distributed to certain charitable institutions on or after 9th december each year. 1. the trustees shall apply one half of the yearly income in relieving either generally or individually women who are in conditions of need, hardship or distress. 2. the trustees shall apply the other half of the yearly income in relieving either generally or individually men and women who are in conditions of need, hardship or distress. 3.1 the objects for which the charity is established are for the public benefit: 3.1.1 to preserve and protect the good health (in particular mental health) and advance the education of families, individuals and groups within the community; and 3.1.2 the relief of poverty; and3.1.3 the relief of those in need, by reason of youth, age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage;in such ways as the trustees think fit. for the benefit of distressed persons born and domiciled within the specified territories - i.e. territories from time to time included in the federation of pakistan and the union of india or bharat - of parents habitually resident in the said territories or any of them, and not established there for temporary purposes only and more paticularly for the provision of additional nursing or medical relief to those who are sick and for the repatriation of those who have not the necessary means for returning to the sai territories and generally for the assistance of such persons as aforesaid who may be in need of help. the provision of country holidays for children, with a preference to children who are sick or delicate. to preserve and protect the good health (in particular mental health) of families, individuals and groups within the community; and the relief of poverty. for the benefit of orphan children who are in need of assistance with a preference for orphan children one or both of whose parents were killed as a result of service in the armed forces of the crown. relieving either generally or individually aged persons who are in conditions of need, hardship or distress by making grants of money or providing or paying for items, services or facilities calculated to reduce the need, hardship or distress of such persons to provide financial assistance (a) to or for the benefit of any dependant of a member of professional class who undergoes a course of education or training as approved by the trustees. (b) to poor and deserving members of the professional class or the middle classes or to poor and deserving dependants of members of the professional class. for the benefit of such deserving poor young persons of either sex, not being jews by religious persuasion, who are kindred of nathan simson or dyfie his wife (or for want of a sufficient number of such persons, for the benefit of such other deserving poor young persons). for further details of objects see clause 7 of court order. 1. providing pensions to poor persons of the working class or the class of domestic or other servants of not less than 60 years of age and who through accident, age or infirmity are unable to maintain themselves by their own exertions. 2. maintaining in convalescent homes poor persons, qualified as above but irrespective of age, recovering from illness or otherwise in need of rest and change. for the relief of poor gentlefolk who must be members of the church of england, natural born british subjects residing in great britain and apart from excetional circumstances over the age of forty with preference given to unmarried females. prizes or fellowships for students in family casework particularly to enable young social workers to devote time to the study of social problems and the philosophy of family casework. 3.1 the objects for which the charity is established are for the public benefit: 3.1.1 to preserve and protect the good health (in particular mental health) and advance the education of families, individuals and groups within the community; and the relief of poverty. for the benefit of members of the middle classes in illness, or distress, with preference so far as is possible to cases in the county borough of eastbourne. 3.1 the objects for which the charity is established are for the public benefit: 3.1.1 to preserve and protect the good health (in particular mental health) and advance the education of families, individuals and groups within the community; and 3.1.2 the relief of poverty; and3.1.3 the relief of those in need, by reason of youth, age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage;in such ways as the trustees think fit. the relief of handicapped young persons and their families. advancement of education. for such charitable institutions or such other charitable objects as the (family welfare) association may in its absolute discretion select. preference given to the provision of bursaries for impecunious medical students from african countries forming part of the british commonwealth at the date of the will to enable them to study in this country without reference to colour or class and any surplus income may be used for the assistance of impecunious elderly persons or children. 1) the sum of 25 pounds per annum to the head teacher of seaford head school to be applied at his discretion in or towards providing such special benefits of any kind not normally provided by the local education authority.2) the sum of 50 pounds per annum to the head teacher of seaford county primary school to be applied at his discretion in or towards providing such special benefits of any kind not normally provided by the local education authority.3) the sum of 5 pounds per annum to the head teacher of seaford infant council school to provide a christmas tree.4) the residue to be paid annually to the minister and elders of seaford united reformed church to be applied at their sole discretion in relieving either generally or individually persons who attend the congregational, united reformed church, baptist and wesleyan churches, at seaford who are in conditions of need, hardship or distress. for the benefit of poor boys and girls by:1) the provision of one or more scholarships, exhibitions or maintenance allowances at any recognised secondary school or at any institution of technical, professional or industrial instruction;2) apprenticeship to any skilled trades or industrial employment;3) assistance in the shape of grants to enable candidates to attend any day or evening course of instruction relating to technical or any form of professional or industrial education; 4) in otherwise promoting their education, including social and physical training. to assist british born subjects to educate themselves or to obtain tuition or experience to fit them for a higher or more successful commercial career than they might otherwise attain. in selecting beneficiaries preference to be given to employees of john batt and company (london) limited or members of their families. the advancement of education by assisting students from any country to study sociology, economics, ecology, or philosophy or to undertake training or study of a professional, technological, technical, scientific or artistic or artisan nature, or otherwise, in such manner as the trustees may think fit, with a view to benefiting the underprivileged citizens and underprivileged or underdeveloped countries of the world. to preserve and protect the good health (in particular mental health) of families, individuals and groups within the community; and the relief of poverty. to apply the yearly income of the charity in relieving persons who are in conditions of need, hardship or distress by making grants of money or providing or paying for items, services or facilities calculated to reduce the need, hardship or distress of such persons.(for details please see scheme) a common investment fund established by a scheme of the charity commissioners under section 24 of the charities act 1993 for the benefit of any charity within the meaning of the act the trustees shall hold the trust fund and its income upon trust to apply them for the exclusively charitable purposes of relieving either generally or individually persons with mental health problems who are in conditions of need, hardship or distress by such means as the trustees shall think fit including (without limitation) by making grants of money or providing or paying for items, services or facilities calculated to improve the quality of life of such persons (including without limitation holidays and educational support).
