1) to promote and assist the general good of all physically handicapped prsons in the chipping barnet area and to assist statutory authorities and voluntary organisations in providing facilities for physical and mental welfare and recreation furthering health and to pursue and objects which now are or hereafter may be deemed by law to be charitable. 2) to promote and organise co-operation in the achievement of the above purposes and to that end bring together in the association representatives of the authorities and voluntary organisations engaged in the furtherance thereof or any of them in the chipping barnet area.
