1) to sponsor research into the causes of criminal behaviour and social maladjustment among the young in order to combat the effects and create a permanent prevention and re-education action and to publish the resutlts of such research. 2) to educate magistrates and all persons concerned in judicial processes in relation to offending youth and young persons in need of care protection or control and the needs of the family arising from such matters. 3) in furtherance of the above objects to encourage the liaison at national and international level and to collect sums of money for financing the said objects.
