to pay from the annual income or balance of the fund the following annuities:- 35% to be applied in instituting one or more alexander fleck research fellowships in biochemistry at the university of glasgow. 27% to be applied in instituting one or more isabel fleck research fellowships in english or scottish mediaeval history at the university of durham. 16% to the royal society of edinburgh to further the interest knowledge and appreciation of science. 10% to be applied by the glasgow university social science department in instituting a robert and agnes fleck scholarship for sociological study and research work at the university of glasgow. 12% to the royal society of london to be used for such charitable purposes as its council may think fit.
