to pay or apply the whole of the income and such parts of the capital as the trustee shall from time to time think fit to or towards or for the advancement or in furtherance of such charitable purposes or charitable institutions and in such manner and in such proportions as the trustee may from time to time in the trustee's absolute discretion determine to the intent that not withstanding anything herein elswhere contained the trust fund and the income thereof shall be held on exclusively charitable trusts.
