to the provision of a prize or prizes for pupils at the bentley grammar school to be presented annually for geography in particular for pupils who over the four years 'o' and 'a' level courses have consistently striven for excellence even though not necessarily of outstanding academic ability and who have achieved success as a result: provided that if no pupil is judged worthy of a prize to the value of all or even part of the funds available the headmaster may use his sole discretion to devote all or part of the said funds (1) for the general purposes of the school (2) for the general purposes of any charitable fund held by him in connection with the school.
