to promote the welfare of the aged in any manner wich now is or hereafter may be deemed by law to be charitable within broadland (which for the purpose of this constitution shall be defined as the area covered by the broadland district council as defined at thre date of adoption of the original constitution of the charity on 12 november 1973).
