1. to promote the efficiency of the army by a. maintaining contact between past and present members of the corps, fostering mutual friendship between them and providing for social gatherings for them. b. fostering espridite corps, comradship and the welfare of the corps and preserving its traditions.2. to relieve either generally or individually members of the association or past and present members of the corps and their dependants who are in conditions of need, hardship or distress. for the relief of retired nurses who were at any time members of queen alexanders imperial nursing service and are in need of charitable assistance or benefit for the relief of persons who are serving or who have at any time served in army nursing organisations in need of charitable assistance or benefit paying annuities to retired nurses who were at any time members of queen alexanders military nursing service india or queen alexanders imperial military nursing service or its reserve and who are in need of charitable assistance with a preference for those who have rendered war service and those who are incapacitated through illness or age or b in paying annuties to retired nurses who were at any the members of queen alexanders royal army nursing corps and who are in need of charitable assistance with a preference for those who have rendered war service and those who are incapacitatd through illness or age. for the assistance of aged and necessitous army nurses. the assistance of any persons serving or having served in army nursing orgnisations as may be in need of charitable assistance or in making grants to charities assisting such persons. 1) to promote the efficiency of the army by a) maintaining contact between past and present members of the corps, fostering mutual friendship between them and providing for social gatherings for them b) fostering esprit de corps, comradeship and the welfare of the corps and preserving its traditions.2) to relieve either generally or individually members of the association or past and present members of the corps and their dependants, who are in conditions of need, hardship or distress.
