amalgamated into constituent no.4 by virtue of the scheme of the commissioners dated 19 august 1992.in or towards relieving by occassional or periodical grants of allowances or money or by pensions or otherwise poor persons in needy circumstances who are either ex-members of the royal army pay corps or widows of children of such poor persons who have been attached to served with or have served the corps amalgamated into constituent no.4 by virtue of scheme of the commissioners dated 19 august 1992. to apply the clear income in or to towards relieving by occassional or periodical grants or allowances of money or by pensions or otherwise poor persons in needy circumwtances who are either ex-member or the royal army pay corps or widows or children or ex-members of the corps or in suitable cases to poor persons or the widows or children of such poor persons who have been attached to served with or have served the corps in promoting the efficiency of the branch or any unit or detachment thereof and relieving in cases of need, hardship or distress persons who are members or former members of the branch or members of the former corps or who have been attached to, served with or served the branch or former corps and the dependants of such persons. a) to promote the efficiency of the army by:- 1) maintaining contact between former members of the former royal army pay corps (the former corps) and former or serving members of the adjutant general's corps (staff and personell support branch) (the branch); fostering mutual friendship between them and providing for social gatherings for them; and 2) fostering esprit de corps, comradeship and the welfare of the branch and preserving its traditions and those of the former corps. b) to relieve either generally or individually members of the association, former members of the former corps and former serving members of the branch and their dependants, who are in conditions of need, hardship or distress (beneficiaries). see constituents of group
