to promote the prevention of sickness and the relief of sickness for the public benefit by such charitable means as the charity shall from time to time think fit as the charity shall from time to time think fit, and in particular (but without prejudice to the generality of such objects):- (a) by making grants and awards (b) by promoting or assisting in the teaching or training of doctors, nurses, physiotherapists and other persons engaged in any branch of medicine, surgery, nursing or allied services, and in the teaching or training of students in any branch of medicine, surgery, nursing or allied services (c) by conducting or promoting research into the care and treatment of persons suffering from any illness, disability, disease or infirmity and particularly into the care and treatment of persons suffering from cancer or terminal illnesses and to disseminate the results thereof to the public (d) by providing or assisting the provision of spiritual help and guidance for any such persons(e) by raising awareness of the causes of and ways to prevent sickness
