shall apply the income of the charity for the benefit of the residents of the cottage homes of the charity or any of them in such manner as the managing trustees think fit from time to time. to collect, preserve and display all relics, trophies and items of regimental interest. 1) subject to payment of the expenses aforesaid the managing trustees shall apply the income of the charity in: a) assisting in the provision of accommodation for the housing of beneficiaries;b) making grants of money or providing for or calculated to reduce the need, hardship or distress of beneficiaries;c) providing or paying for items, services or facilities calculated to alleviate the suffering or assist the recovery of beneficiaries but are not readily available to them from other sources.2) the trustee may pay for such items, services or facilities by way of donations or subscriptions to institutions or organisations which provide or which undertake in return to provide such items, services or facilities for beneficiaries.
