the watson and brett bursaries has been transferred to charity no.1030917. the annual income of the fund shall be divided into two portions. one portion shall be awarded in respect of the watson bursary to the most promising sixth form pupil studying history and the other shall be awarded in respect of the brett bursary to the most promising sixth form pupil studying religious knowledge both at the advanced level of the general certificate of education or its equivalent as shall be recommended by the headmistress of the school and agreed by the board. prizes to be presented to pupils in memory of various past headminstresses and staff advancement of education provision of travelling scholarship the object of the charity is the promotion of education (including physical training) by the provision of bursaries and other forms of financial assistance for fees and/or other costs incurred through attendance at the school to enable pupils to further their education at the school by for example providing financial assistance to those who(1) would not be able to enter the school having been accepted; or(2) having commenced education at the school would not be able to continue their education at the school. the object of the charity is to further the education (including physical training) of pupils attending the school, former pupils of the school or pupils of other schools with whom the school has cooperated under clause 7(11)of this scheme, by the provision of scholarships, prizes or other suitable rewards or marks of distinction.
