the advancement of education and training by means of collaboration with the national proficiency tests council(nptc) in the administration of schemes of proficiency tests, vocational qualifications, certificates of competence, certificates of qualifications, and other such awards in the land based industries as the committee shall from time to time decide. (the area of operation will mainly cover the county of east sussex but requests will be considered from any other area)
