one or more of the following purposes for promoting aiding and furthering the objects and work of the church of england that is to say:- (a) the making of grants for or towards the cost of travel for educational or religious purposes connected with the church of england (whether in the united kingdom, or abroad) by clergy, deaconesses and full time lay workers of the church of england and their dependants; and (b) giving financial assistance (including grants for or towards the cost of holidays) to clergy deaconesses and full time lay workers of the church of england and their dependants who are in need.
