the clear yearly income of the charity shall be applied by the trustees ath their discretion for both or either of the following purposes:- a. the provision of bible women, scripture readers or other lay helpers for the ecclesiastical parish of christ church, downend, exclusive of any prt thereof that may be now or hereafter comprised in the said new ecclesiastical district of soundwell; b. the provision of the stipend for a curate or one or more assistant curates for the said ecclesiastical parish exclusive as aforesaid.
