the preservation and re-establishment of areas of open downland interspersed with trees and scrub on graffham down and in the neighbourhood of graffham to try to preserve and to reintroduce species of flora and wildlife which have been indigenous to graffham and the neighbourhood but which are or may be in danger of extinction or substantial diminution in numbers so that children and others living in graffham and the neighbourhood may study and be taught about such flora and wildlife in graffham and the neighbourhood and so as to improve and encourage the appreciation of such flora and wildlife.
