(1) charitable purposes connected with the vicarage and adjoining refectory and the church and a proposed chapter house as the trustees shall from time to time in their absolute discretion determine geing pruposes which include the advancement of religion and spiritual welfare the preservation and protectintion of health and the relief of suffering or any of them. (2) the acquisition by purchase or lease of the vicarage and its adjoining refectory together weith the gardens coniguous thereto; the lease of the same or any prot theeof to a charitable foundation for use as a hospital or hospice; all works and requirements for the foundation of a chapter house for the church; and to provide financial and other assistance to charitable foundations having purposes similar to those stated therein.
