(a) establishing and managing a hospice within and for the benefit of the area comprising but not limited to the boroughs of reading, slough, and windsor and maidenhead and the districts of south buckinghamshire, bracknell, chiltern, newbury, wokingham and wycombe so as to render service to persons suffering from grave or terminal illness and to serve those areas of work which the national health service cannot reach. (b) establishing and managing a home care service whereby persons suffering from grave or terminal illness may be visited, treated and comforted in their owen homes or other establishments by qualified medical and nursing personnel and counsellors. (c) establishing and managing a counselling service for the relatives and friends of persons suffering from grave or terminal illness with a view to helping such relatives and friends to cope with this situation when their mental or emotional stability is threatened and to support them in their bereavement.
