Objects:
the objects for which the centre is established are to promote the benefit of those living or working in the london borough of tower hamlets without discrimination against any person or body on grounds relating to sex, race or religion or other opinions by: (a) the establishment of a community centre and the maintenance and management of such a centre for activities promoted by the centre and its constituent bodies in the furtherance of the above objects. (b) the advancement of education and work training among those living or working in the area of benefit. (c) the provision in the interests of social welfare of recreational and other facilities for those living or working within the area of benefit who are in need of such facilities by reason of their social and economic circumstances and with the object of improving their conditions of life. (d) the provision of free legal advice and assistance to poor persons living or working within the area of benefit with the object of relieving poverty and (e) the undertaking of such other charitable activities as the centre may from time to time decide.
