Objects:
the aims of the club shall be: (a) to promote technical education in life saving and the resuscitation of the apparently drowned. (b) to stimulate public opinion in favour of the general adoption of swimming and life saving as a branch of instruction in schools colleges etc. (c) to encourage floating, diving, plunging and offer such swimming arts as would be of assistance to a person endeavouring to save life. (d) to arrange and promote public lectures, demonstrations and competitions and to form classes of instruction, so as to bring about a widespread and thorough knoweldge of the principles which underline the art of natation. (e) to encourage community service through the rlss lifeguards and form classes of instruction related to this aspect of the royal life saving society's work, together with the provision of and training in the use of appropriate aids.
