(a) to advance education amongst tibetan refugee children and adults in exile. (b) to preserve and promote the cultural heritage of tibet through the promotion of research and study into such heritage and the publication and dissemination of the useful results of such research, (c) to relieve poverty and hardship amongst tibetans in exile in such manner in all respects as the trustees shall from time to time and at any time in their absolute discretion think fit provided always that in exercising their absolute discretion as aforesaid the trustees may have regard to but shall not in any way be bound by the wishes of the tibetan community in britain as expressed to them from time to time in writing and provided all such relief is of a charitable nature.
