Objects:
(a) to assist cases of hardship among freemen and families of freemen who are in necessitous circumstances; (b) to promote the advancement in life of young people who are in need of financial assistance by promoting their training in occupations which will render them eligible to become freemen of sudbury; (c) to promote charitable purposes which are conversant with the freeman's oath to be aiding and assisting unto the town mayor and justices of the town of sudbury, the constables, sergeants at mace and all other the queen's officers and ministers of the town, in the due ececution of justice and performance of her majesty's service and also to uphold, support, maintain and defend all the good and lawful rights, privileges, customs, decrees, byelaws, orders and hereditaments of and belonging to the town; (d) to promote such charitable purposes as may be of benefit to the town or community of sudbury.
