(a) to relieve distress by the promotion of sporting and athletic facilities for young people aged 14 years and over who are physically or mentally handicapped and who reside within the london borough of hammersmith and fulham. (b) to advance education by bringing the disabled into closer association and integration with the able bodied so that the former will have opportunities of overcoming their disabilities and the latter will benefit from such association and integration.
