the object of the fund shall be to improve protect and preserve for the benefit of the public the woodland areas within the exmoor national park. (1) maintain and perpetuate woodlands by management methods and tree planting; (2) conserve and enhance the woodlands as the habitat for wildlife; (3) increase public enjoyment of the woodlands by opening more paths and track through the woods; (4) provide and promote information and interpretive material about woodlands on exmoor and to identify and promote the recreational use and education potential of appropriate woodlands.
