(a) the relief of animals suffering from injury, sickness, ill treatment, maltreatment or neglect;(b) the establishment and maintenance of clinics or hospitals for the reception, treatment and if necessary painless destruction of sick and injured animals;(c) the provision of accommodation for unwanted and homeless animals until permanent homes are found for them or when necessary the provision for their painless destruction;(d) the encouragement and assistance of educational research work to prevent animal suffering in any of its forms; and(e) the general purposes of such charitable bodies or for such other purposes as shall be exclusively charitable as the trustees may from time to time decide.
