to promote the benefit of the inhabitants of hele and audley and the neighbourhood without distinction of sex or of policical, religious or other ipinions by associating the local authorities, voluntary organistions and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education andto provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recretion and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants. for further datails see clause 2 of the constitution. indtitution of further (including professional and technical) education, approved by the council as trustee, to be awared under rules to be made by the council, including rules as to the value and period of tenure of the exhibitions, and the qulifications, and method o ascertainment and selection, of candidates; b. financial assistance, outfits, clothing, university or any other ecucational establishment, to prepare for, or to enter, a proffession, de or calling; otherwise promoting the education (including social and physical trainging) of beneficiaries.
