(1) to promote as widely as possible the wellbeing of the community by associating local authorities, voluntary organisations and residents in a common effort to further cultural, social and physical welfare; and to foster a spirit of mutual service and friendship. (2) to establish, maintain and manage, either alone or in conjunction with such other organisations or local government organ as may be necessary, desirable or appropriate, the community centre at st george's road and/or community centres for activities promoted by the association or its constituent members in furtherance of the above, or any other objects as may be by law deemed to be charitable.
