income to be used in making grants to the thomas peacock school library. to provide an annual prize at thomas peacocke school on any aspect of local history to provide a scholarship for or in and of the payment of tuition fees of any boy who shall be a native or the son of a native of the town of rye. to pay the school fees of a boy or girl with preference given to the following: 1) a war orphan. 2) the child of a man wounded in the great war 1914-18. 3) the child of a man wo shall have served in his majestys navel or military forces 1914-18. 4) any deserving child of a man who has been or shall be serving in my branch of his majestys naval or military forces. to provide a prize for arithmetic to provide a yearly prize for divinity to be awarded to the boys or girls of rye grammer school to promote the education (including social and physical training) of young persons resident in the borough of rye, or within a distance of five miles from the town hall of rye who, in the opinion of the governors, are in need of financial assistance.
