the school premises shall be used for the benefit of children of the labouring, manufacturing and other poorer classes:- (a) a sunday school or classes for religious instruction in accordance with the doctrines of the church of england (b) evening classes or lectures of and educational character (c) physical instruction by means of a gymnasium or otherwise (d) the advancement of education by means of a library or reading room the income arising from the use of the school premises under this scheme shall be applied for the insurance against fire, repair and improvement of the buildings.
