a prize for music with a preference for boys who have shown particular aptitude as instrumental or vocal soloits or conductors annual prize to a girl student about to leave school and take up some form of higher education provision of special benefits for the queen elizabeth grammer school for girls the award of a prize to the upper sixth or upper fifth girl who is leaving taking into consideration her character not her intellectual ability. for the endowment of a prize for needleworth to be awarded on the reccomendation of the headmistress of the queen elizabeth's grammar school for girls. this prize is normally to be given annually but in the event of there being no girl whose work merits the prize it may be held over until the following year. the provision of such special benefits of a king not normally provided by the local education authority, including the award of prizes to or the provision of assistance for individual pupils at the grammar school of queen elizabeth for boys for the endowment of a prize at the boys' school for classics, to be awarded at the discreation of the headmaster the award of an annual prize (or prizes) for chemistry to be award each year to a scholar (or scholars). in the school, or conditions decided by and at the dicretion of the headmaster. the award of a prize or prizes consisting of books, apparatus or equipment to a boy or boys proceeding to a university or place of higher education. the award of an annual prize or prizes for mathematics to be awarded each year to a scholar or scholars in the school, on conditions decided by and at the discretion of the headmaster. the award of an annual prize of prizes for sciences to be awarded each year to a scholar of scholars at the school on conditions decided and at the discretion of the headmaster. a prize (or prizes) for history to be awarded annually in the event of there being no boy (or boys) whose work merits the prize or prizes in any one year, the income from the fund for that year is to be used for such other prize or prizes as the said headmaster sees fit. the award of prizes to pupils at the school (boys school) to aid any member of the staff of assistant masters at the boys school in time of sickness in such manner as the headmasters considers best a prize for divinity (boy's school) a fund for the purchase of books. the award of a prize to a boy from the school going up to a university or taking some other form of higher education. the award of an annual prize for the benefit of the school in such manner as the trustees think fit (1) the trustees may apply up to 80% of the clear income of the boy's endowment in providing such special benefits of any kind not provided from public funds for the queen elizabeth's grant maintained boys school, barnet as may from time to time be agreed upon between the trustees and the school governors. the residue of the said net income shall be applied by the trustees in promoting the education of boys and young men under the age of twenty-five years who are about to attend or are attending or have for not less than two years attended the said boys school and who are in need of financial assistance in one or more of the following ways:- (a) the award of scholarships, bursaries or maintenance allowances tenable at any university or other place of learning approved by the trustees; (b) the provision of financial assistance, outfits, clothing, tools, instruments or books to enable beneficiaries on leaving school, university, or other educational establishment to prepare for or to assist with their entry into, a profession, trade or calling; (c) the award of scholarships or maintenance allowances to enable beneficiaries to study music or other arts or to travel to further their education; (d) in otherwise promoting the education including social and physical training of beneficiaries.
