income of the fund shall be applied, in the absolute discretion of the governors, to such scholarships, exhibitions, bursaries, or other foundations for the benefit of scholars or ex-scholars of the institutions, between the ages of 15 and 19, as shall provide higher education for deserving boys after they have finished their school career. grants for further education or advancement or otherwise for the benefit of boys or young men under the age of 23 years whose earlier education has been provided for by the institution. 1) education and advancement in life of the children or distressed and deceased freemasons who have been members of one of the public schools. 2) to relieve all poor and distressed freemasons of the public schools and their wives, widows and children or dependants. 3) to make grants to any of the royal masonic charities or the freemasons hospital benefit of the institution scholarship an annual prize maintaining, clothing and educating those sons of freemasons under the english institution or every religious denomination who from circumstances arising from the death, illness or misfortune of either or both parents are reduced to and continue to be in a position requiring the benefits of the institution.
