Objects:
(1)the relief of poor persons resident in the parish of st. briavels either in gifts in kind or grants of money. (2)for the benefit of boys or girls or young men or young women not more than twenty-five years of age who in the opinion of the trustees are in need of financial assistance in either of the following ways:(a)in assisting them to prepare for or to enter upon or engage in any trade, occupation, profession or service by providing them with outfits or by the payment of fees, maintenance allowances, or travelling expenses for the purpose of obtaining instruction or training; (b)in any other way which the trustees may think conducive to their advancement in life or to enabling them to earn their own living. (3)pay a preacher for preaching 4 sermons a year in the parish church of the ecclesiastical parish of st. mary the virgin, st. briavels. (4)in or towards the repair and beautification of the parish church.
