1) the promotion of art and the purchase of works of art with a view to their exhibition to the public upon such terms and conditions as to the trustees may seem proper. 2) the creation of one or more scholarships to enable artists to pursue such studies in or relating to art as the trustees may approve or to pursue such other artistic work as the trustees may think proper and in respect of each such scholarship the trustees may / overprescribe such reasonable regulations or conditions as they think proper. 3) the establishment and maintenance of a school for artists in such manner and subject to reasonable regulations and conditions as the trustees may think fit. 4) the establishment and maintenance of any existing art gallery or museum. 5) the establishment of prizes for artists upon such reasonable conditions and terms as the trustees may determine. 6) the fostering, promoting and increasing of the interest of the public in the visual arts and other arts co-related therewith.
