the income shall be applied for the benefit of boys and girls resident in the beneficial area who are in need of financial assistance in one or more of the following ways:- 1. in assisting such boys and girls attending schools, institutions or classes for purposes of education other than elementary and to continue their education by enablin them to prepare for some profession, trade or callin by meas of outfits, clothin, payment of fees for instruction, payment of travelling expenses or otherwise; 2. in otherwise promoting the edication, including social and physical training, of such boys and girls.
