Objects:
(a) the educational advancement or benefit of children or young persons who or whose parents are or have been resident in or engaged or employed in any trade or occupation within the city of london or who attend or have attended any county or voluntary school or other educational establishment approved by the trustees, in the city of london, or any school on the foundation of christ's hospitals in one or more of the following ways: (1) the award of scholarship, bursaries or maintenance allowances tenable at any school, university or other place of learning; and (2) the provision of outfits, clothing, tools, intruments, books and financial assistance to assist the entry of beneficiaries into a trade, profession or calling; (3) the award of scholarships and maintenance allowances to enable beneiciaries to travel abroad to pursue their education; (4) provision of facilities not normally provided by the local education authority; (5) financial assistance to enable beneficiaries to study music or other arts, and (6) the promotion, otherwise than as aforesaid, of the education (including social and physical training) of beneficiaries.
