Objects:
(a) to foster post-graduate medical and dental education for and research by consultants, practitioners and hospital staff. (b) to promote and advance the study and general knowledge of medical and dental sciences and all matters relating to the progress and development of such sciences. (c) to assist in bringing general practioners within the hospital sphere and thereby to provide improved service to the community by greater co-operation between the various branches of medicine and dentistry. (d) to provide and equip special premises to be known as the harefield and northwood post graduate medical centre, to be sited in the grounds of mount vernon hospital, which shall:- (i) be used for educational purposes by all medical and dental qualified practitioners and students. (ii) to be used to encourage and co-ordinate research. (iii) contain a lecture hall where medical, dental and other meetings can be held. (iv) contain a medical library and reading room. (v) contain catering facilities.
