the advancement of education for the public benefit including but without limitation:(1) by the provision of advice and guidance to children and young persons, their parents and other persons or bodies responsible for the education and training of children or young persons directed to-(a) the selection of appropriate schools, coaching establishments, tutors, universities, colleges of higher or further education and similar educational establishments,(b) the provision of accommodation suitable for such children or young persons in connection with their education,(c) the selection of appropriate training courses or apprenticeships,(d) the general guidance of such parents and other persons or bodies in discharge of their educational responsibilities(2) by the foundation, maintenance and support of studentships, scholarships, exhibitions, bursaries and prizes designed to promote and encourage education(3) by the provision of training, including mentoring.
