(a) the establishment of scholarships for the benefit of such graduates or undergraduates of peterhouse in the university of cambridge as the trustees may select for the purpose of enabling them to extend their education in such manner as the trustees may approve particularly outside the united kingdom and by making grants from the fund for defraying the costs of such scholarships. (b) such other payments being for educational and other charitable purposes only as the trustees may in their descretion think fit.
