Objects:
(1) to promote the welfare of people with disabilities and mental health problems, especially older people, by encouraging them to live independent lives in their own homes, assisting with housing benefit claims, remembrance days and leisure occasions, and the raising of standards of care and growth of resources to enable those standards of care to be met and maintained(2) to promote the welfare of mentally infirm elderly persons by providing resources whereby those persons might receive advice, encouragement, assistance and support and including (but not limited to) the provision of residential accommodation, day care facilities and services designed to support these persons in their own homes. (3) to undertake research and to encourage and support research by others into the nature of mental infirmity in the elderly the special needs of the mentally infirm elderly and of the needs of those having care of them, to the extent nature and organisation of the resources presently or potentially available for the care & support of the mentally infirm elderly and those having care of them.
