1.the provision of convalescent or holiday accommodation in england and wales, for those who by reason of their financial situation, would be unable to afford or would find difficulty in affording the cost of such accommodation from their own resources,2. the provision, in the interests of social welfare within the meaning of the recreational charities act 1958, of facilities for recreation or leisure time occupation in areas where there is a substantial number of (members of)the union of democratic minerworkers for:(a)those having need of such facilities by reason of youth, age, infirmity or disablement, poverty or social and economic circumstances, and in particular, but without limitation, workers or ex workers in or about coal mines in the district of nottinghamshire and their dependents; or(b) members or female members of the public at large;3.the furtherance of the objects of any other charity providing charitable benefits to persons employed or formerly employed in the coal industry in any capacity their spouses children parents or dependants;4. the furtherance of charitable objects generally
