for the educational benefit of students researchers and the public namely:- (a) the restoration of the muncaster mill water powered mill on a site used for a mill for centuries and the continued preservation ad display of the restored mill and equipment. (b) the foundation and maintenance of a railway museum at ravenglass. (c) the conservation and control of flora and fauna in ravenglass and eskdale. (d) to promote the study of and research into the use of water as a means of producing energy. (e) the advancement of education.
