the committee is established to help and educate girls and boys through their leisure time activities so to develop their physical, mental and spriitual capacities tha they may grow to full maturity as individuals and members of society. in furtherance of objects hereinbefore defined but not otherwise, the committee shall provide residential courses for pupils in their fourth and fifth year of secondary education, particularly those in schools which include regular life and leisure courses (or similar title, e.g. design for living) in their curriculum, which can be enhanced by provision of a residential course.
