Objects:
1) to assist the school governors to discharge their obligations under the said education acts with respect to the maintenance of the school; 2) to provide at the school special benefits of any kind not normally provided by the local education authority and 3) to promote the education of pupils and former pupils of the school under the age of 25 years who are or who have a parent or parents resident in ringley or the neighbourhood thereof. (for further details see clauses 21 and 22 of the scheme).
