to apply the income of the charity in either or both of the following ways:- (1) in relieving either generally or individually retired teachers who have taught in a church of england voluntary shcool in the area of benefit who are in conditions of need, hardship and distress. (2) to relieve either generally or individually communicant members of the church of england who have been concerned with religious education in the principles of the church and who are in conditions of need hardship and distress. for further details see clause 20 (1+2) of the scheme
