1. not more than one third of the income to be applied in providing such special benefits of any kind not usually provided by the local education authority for any maintained school in the beneficial area as the governors may determine after consultation with the said authority. 2. income may be applied in making grants to the managers or governors of any school serving the beneficial area which is an aided school and wherein religious instruction is given in accordance with the christian faith towards the cost of alterations of or repairs to the premises of such school so that they may conform to the requirements of the said acts. 3. income may be applied for the benefit of boys or girls who or whose parents are resident in the area of benefit and who in the opinion of the governors are in need of financial assistance. for further details see clause 15 of the scheme. for the furtherance of secondary education of tideswell children
