(i) to promote for the public benefit interest in and knowledge of the tanat and cain valleys (being parts of the areas conveyed by the district councils of glyndwr, montgomery and oswestry) their history, heritage, culture and natural beauty, and (ii) to organise concerted action to secure by charitable means the protection and improvement of the tanat and cain valleys and the amenities and facilities available for the inhabitants of and visitors thereto.
