to provide a christian home or homes within the area of the united kingdom and irish republic (for further details see clause 4 of the deed) in the interest of promoting the spiritual material and mental welfare of persons who are mentally or physically handicapped and thus have difficulty in attaining or are unable to attain a normal standard of education training and general ability and capacity by or through ordinary methods of education or training and who by reason of their mental or physical disability are in need of special training sheltered employment or occupation or other appropriate means.(for further details see clause 1 of the deed).
