Objects:
the objects for which the company is established are:(i) to relieve sickness, disability and infirmity by such means as the trustees think fit including (but not restricted to) by the operation of a charitable care home by the admission according to need of persons resident in the metropolitan borough of gateshead in the county of tyne and wear who are sick, convalescent, disabled, handicapped or infirm and in exceptional cases persons otherwise eligible for admittance who are resident immediately outside the metropolitan borough of gateshead but in the opinion of the executive committee ought nevertheless for sufficient reasons to be treated as if resident therein or who are located for the time being within that borough.(ii) to relieve hardship (whether financial or otherwise) by assisting persons in necessitous circumstances through such means as the trustees think fit;(iii) to promote any charitable purpose for the benefit of the public generally; and(iv) for the general purposes of such charitable bodies as the trustees may from time to time decide.
